Master Classes

Master Classes for the Classics
Master Classes for the Classics are designed to give aspiring high school musicians the rare opportunity to study with a master of their respective instrument.

Renowned virtuosos invited to perform with the CCSO at a Classics concert are the "masters" who provide one-on-one lessons for the four selected students in front of a live audience. Students are recommended by their music teachers.

Providing access to world-class musicians in this way has been a core component of the Music Works! Education Program since its inception.

Classes are typically held in the week prior to a Classics concert.
