The electrifying trio TAKE3, under the leadership of violinist Lindsay Deutsch, will perform their take on top pop hits, Americana, and classical favorites at the sensational Cape Symphony’s New Year’s Day Party.
This is Lindsay’s first time on the Cape Symphony stage after her fiery performance of Stravinsky’s “Firebird Suite” in 2014. Lindsay frequently tours with Yanni around the world, displaying her brilliant technique and musicianship. Her movie credits include playing the solo violin soundtrack for the movie The Good Shepherd starring and directed by Robert De Niro. Visit Lindsay’s website to learn more.
Joining Lindsay in TAKE3 are award-winning German pianist Eva Schaumkell and Los Angeles-based cellist Leah Metzler. Eva has won numerous European and American awards for her extraordinary playing. She’s been praised for “thrilling virtuosity” and “technical perfection.” Eva is currently a Doctoral student of the renowned pianist and teacher Daniel Pollack at the USC Thornton School of Music in Los Angeles, where she is also a dedicated Teaching Assistant. As the daughter of a violin-maker father and violinist mother, Leah was surrounded by music at a very young age. Practically raised in the family violin shop in Los Angeles, she was lucky enough to discover her passion for the cello at the age of four. Leah has performed all over the world and was recently on tour with Panic! at the Disco. She’s an active recording artist too; her work can be heard on the scores of numerous movies, television series, albums, commercials, and video games.
