Our Sinatra! concert can’t take place in June, but we’re hopeful that by August, the situation will be different. This concert is something we can all look forward to, together.
As you probably know, Governor Baker announced that all schools in Massachusetts are closed through the end of June, meaning that we’re unable to perform in the Barnstable Performing Arts Center. This is the responsible move for the health and well-being of our community and we support the governor’s decision.
Although we’re all unsure of what the future holds, we’re optimistically rescheduling Sinatra! to August 22 and 23, 2020. We’ll take every possible measure to ensure the safety of all of you and of our musicians and staff; that is our highest priority.
As originally planned, Brian Duprey, famous as the best Sinatra singer around, will join Jung-Ho Pak and the Cape Symphony to present the greatest hits of Ol’ Blue Eyes, including “Fly Me to the Moon,” “Luck Be a Lady,” and “The Way You Look Tonight.” We hope that we’re able to present this wonderful concert to you.
Thank you for being part of our Cape Symphony family. We’re thinking about you every day and staying positive about all the entertainment we’re going to share with you in the future.
