Cape Symphony's Sing for Joy Ensemble for Parkinson's Patients

Free “Sing for Joy” Group for Parkinson’s Disease Patients

We're excited to bring back a very special program. Sing for Joy is a singing group for individuals living with Parkinson's disease.

Sing for Joy is designed to help maintain vocal strength, build community through singing, and experience hope – and joy – through music. Family members, friends, and caregivers are welcome to join. Sing for Joy meets at the Barnstable Adult Community Center, located at 825 Falmouth Rd, Hyannis, MA, on Mondays from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. You may pre-register or drop in to any session.

Welcome to Sing for Joy’s new teaching artist, Maggi Bossi! Maggi is well-known to many of you as the former director of the Chatham Chorale, and we’re happy to have her join us.

Sing for Joy is funded by a grant from the Parkinson Support Network of Cape Cod/ American Parkinson Disease Association, and because of that, tuition is free!

Sharing music in this way can literally change lives. Learn more about Sing for Joy.
