Event dates: Postponed

We regret that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our 2020-21 Cape Symphony season will be rescheduled to 2021-22, because the Barnstable Public School buildings, including the Barnstable Performing Arts Center, will not be available to outside organizations during the 2020-21 school year.

Our musicians, staff, and trustees are all deeply saddened by this situation, as we know you are. We will greatly miss performing for you. Please know that we’re optimistic about the future, and we promise that when we return, the Cape Symphony experience will be better than ever!

If you were a 2019-20 Cape Symphony series subscriber, don’t worry: your subscription will be held for the 2021-22 season. Anyone with questions regarding subscriptions or tickets may contact the Cape Symphony Box Office at 508.362.1111 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. The Cape Symphony office, including the Box Office, at 1060 Falmouth Road in Hyannis remains closed.

The holiday season begins with the Cape Symphony! Year after year, we gather to share joyous music and moments that put us all in a holiday mood. 2020 marks the 50th anniversary of the Cape’s beloved Chatham Chorale; we’ll shine a spotlight on our dear friends. We’ll be joined by Deanna Loveland, a multi-talented Nashville singer/songwriter who also plays piano and harp, and gifted Orleans guitarist and singer Keb Hutchings-McMahon, former member of the Cape Conservatory’s CJazz ensemble.

Emmy-winning author and journalist David Pogue of “CBS Sunday Morning” and the New York Times will appear in his other roles as musician, conductor, and music lover. Add a children’s chorus, plus a sing-a-long for all to enjoy, and the result is a wonderful holiday celebration!

Guest Artists:

David Pogue, Guest Star
Deanna Loveland, Piano, Harp, and Vocals
Keb Hutchings-McMahon, Guitar and Vocals
The Chatham Chorale, Joseph Marchio, Music Director
