Our first Pops concert of 2024/25 combines the magic of Motown with the supreme talents of your Cape Symphony Orchestra musicians. You’ll enjoy smash hits made famous by artists like Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops, Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, The Temptations, and the one and only Stevie Wonder. Dancing shoes will (absolutely) be required.
Troy Quinn, Conductor
Emmy-nominated conductor Troy Quinn has quickly established himself as one of his generation’s most versatile young artists. Lauded for his energetic and riveting, yet sensitive conducting, Quinn is in his eighth season as Music Director of the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra in Kentucky. He is also in his seventh season as Music Director of the Venice Symphony in Florida and serves concurrently as the Pops Conductor of the Santa Rosa Symphony in California. Quinn’s engagements have included performances with many prestigious orchestras in the United States, including the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, and the Rhode Island Philharmonic, where he also serves as the Pops Conductor.
Terron Brooks, Vocals
Terron Brooks is a singer-songwriter, recording artist, actor, motivational speaker, author and producer who has credits from the Broadway stage, Simba in Disney’s The Lion King and Seaweed in Hairspray, to the television screen’s Curb Your Enthusiasm, American Idol, The Voice, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Based in Los Angeles, Terron has had the great opportunity to perform at The Ahmanson (The Secret Garden), The Pantages (The Lion King, Hairspray) and The Hollywood Bowl (Kinky Boots). Mr. Brooks has traveled the country with the Disney in Concert Symphony Orchestra. He’s best remembered for his critically acclaimed portrayal of Eddie Kendricks in the Emmy Award winning NBC miniseries The Temptations. He is a two time NAACP image award nominee for best supporting actor and an Ovation nominee for best featured actor. Terron has sung with world class artists Stevie Wonder, David Foster, Phil Collins, One Republic, and Smokey Robinson. He is the co-creator and star of The Soul of Broadway, reimagining classic Broadway favorites, and has produced, written and recorded his own records available digitally everywhere.

Crystal Monee Hall is a singer/songwriter, composer/lyricist and vocal arranger based in New York City. Jesse Nager, Vocals
Jesse Nager has sung with Mariah Carey and Shania Twain at Madison Square Garden, Jason Mraz at Radio City Music Hall, and with Patti LaBelle and Joe Pesci. His vocals can be heard on the HAIRSPRAY Movie Soundtrack, both seasons of SMASH (NBC), and many commercials, corporate recordings. and symphonies in concerts across the country. He attended LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts with a degree in Vocal Performance and University of Michigan with a B.F.A in Musical Theater. As a musical arranger, Jesse creates music and demos for all kinds of events including parades, albums, corporate events, weddings and many more. Jesse is also the Founder and Artistic Director of The Broadway Boys, a collection of Broadway singers who rearrange traditional musical theater repertoire with elements of pop/funk/gospel to redefine the Broadway sound.
