Ensembles on Call is a new program that makes it possible to hire select groups of CCSO musicians for small-venue performances across the Cape at any time of the year.

These groups epitomize the high quality of the orchestra as a whole, but are small and flexible enough to travel easily to anywhere on the Cape Cod peninsula, as well as to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard and towns in southeastern Massachusetts. Whether for a concert performance, a special event, an educational program, or other occasion, contracting with Ensembles On Call is the perfect way to support your goals and add sparkle to a gathering.

Classical String Quartet A truly unforgettable event is guaranteed when these four talented musicians put bow to strings. Diane Houle on viola, Heather Goodchild on first violin, Norma Stiner on second violin, and Matthew Pierce on cello make an inspiring combination.

Mixed Trio Representing two string instruments and one woodwind, this professional trio is capable of mixing a wide range of sounds and tone colors. Beautiful music is the result when violinist Antoaneta Anguelova, cellist Michael Czitrom, and oboist Elizabeth Dorris take center stage.

Brass Quintet The clarion sounds of CCSO’s brass quintet are sure to please any crowd that deserves a commanding performance. Members include: Roy Campbell, trombone; Stuart Hall Gunn, tuba; Philip Hague, trumpet; Tobias Monte, trumpet; and George Sullivan, French horn.
