Where do I pick up my prepaid tickets on the day of the performance?
Tickets purchased up to one week prior to the performance will not be mailed. They will be available at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center two hours before concert time at the "Will Call" table located in the lobby of the Center.

Our seat numbers are not consecutive - are they next to each other?
At the Barnstable Performing Arts Center, seat numbers run in odd numbers on the right, even numbers on the left and 3-digit consecutive numbers in the center. For example: H 2 & 4 are side by side.

What if I've lost my tickets?
Call the CCSO Box Office (508.362.1111). If there is time, we can mail duplicate seating tickets or you can pick them up at the "Will Call" table at the Performing Arts Center prior to the concert. If you cannot find your tickets on the day of the performance, simply check in at the Box Office at the Performing Arts Center. The CCSO can look up your account and issue you a reserved seating pass on the spot.

ATTENDING A PERFORMANCE
What time do I need to arrive?
Concert hall doors open 40 minutes prior to the performance. Plan to arrive 20 minutes before the performance time so you can find your seat, turn off your cell phone and have time to glance through the program book.

How long will the performance be?
It varies, but most of our Classics and CapePOPS! performances are about 90 minutes to two hours long, with a 15 or 20-minute intermission at the halfway point. Soft drinks, coffee and snacks are for sale in the lobby before the performance and during intermission. Refreshments are not permitted in the concert hall.

Can I get Program Notes ahead of time?
Program Notes are available for Classics concerts only and are printed in the concert program book you receive in the performance hall. If you would like to read the Program Notes in advance of the concert, go to the particular concert listed under the Concert Season section of our web site and find the Program Notes listed in the right column. If you would like to receive Large-Print Program Notes, please email programnotes@capesymphony.org.

When are the Classics pre-concert talks held?
Our "Musically Speaking" pre-concert talks with Dr. John Clark are insightful and entertaining looks into the compositions you are about to hear. These 30-minute talks are free and held one hour prior to each Classics Concert Series performance (excludes excluding CapePOPS! concerts in October, December and February and our New Year's Day concert) in the Knight Auditorium conveniently located in the same building as the Barnstable Performing Arts Center.

Where does the CCSO perform?
The CCSO performs in Cape Cod’s premier concert hall, the Barnstable Performing Arts Center (BPAC) located at 744 West Main Street, Hyannis MA 02601. The hall is climate-controlled and offers a variety of seating options and excellent sight lines.

How do I get to The Barnstable Performing Arts Center?
Take Route 6 on Cape Cod to exit 6, then Route 132 towards Hyannis. Take a right at the third set of traffic lights onto Phinney’s Lane. Proceed 1.5 miles to traffic light. Take a steep left onto Route 28. Bear right at the fork onto West Main Street. At traffic light go straight. The Barnstable High School campus will be on your left. The Performing Arts Center and parking are located to the far right of the building complex.

Ample, free parking is available on three sides of the Barnstable Performing Arts Center.

Is there seating for wheelchairs?
Handicapped spaces for wheelchairs are available in sections B, C, and E. Please inform the Box Office of your needs when ordering your tickets.

Where is the Lost & Found for items left in the concert hall?
Please report all lost items or give any found items to the Box Office or an usher at the Center. If your item has not been found before you leave the Center, contact the CCSO Box Office at 1060 Falmouth Road in Hyannis (508.362.1111) on the following Monday. All "found" items are held there.

CONCERT COURTESIES
When will I be seated if I’m late?
As a courtesy to performers and audience members, latecomers arriving after the concertmaster has entered the stage will not be seated until an appropriate interval in the performance.

Can I take pictures of the performers?
The use of cameras and any kind of audio or video recording equipment is not permitted in the concert hall unless authorized by CCSO management in advance and in writing. Use of flash is prohibited at all times. All electronic signals on watches, cell phones, pagers and other equipment must be turned off before performances.

What is considered "Symphony Attire"?
Anything that makes you feel comfortable is fine. Most people will be wearing business clothes or slightly dressy casual clothes. Some people enjoy dressing up and making a special night of it, and you can, too.

When are the hours for the CCSO Box Office in Hyannis?
The CCSO Box Office is located at 1060 Falmouth Road (Route 28), Hyannis, MA. It is open Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm. (Summer - Fridays until 4pm). Call 508-362-1111.
