A vocalist, guitarist, and cellist, Eleanor Dubinsky’s sound incorporates jazz, world and pop sensibilities, reflecting her roots in the midwestern United States as well as formative time spent in Latin America, Europe, Portugal and Cape Verde. Her songwriting transcends geography and genre, refusing to recognize those things as limitations or boundaries and reaching instead for emotional connections that define the shared human experience.
Singing in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish, Eleanor and her multi-faceted band bring linguistic and cultural fluency to exuberant, life-affirming compositions.
