The highlight of our annual gala, Crescendo: An Evening of Joy, will be an exclusive performance by the acclaimed Cape Symphony, led by Jung-Ho Pak.
Jung-Ho has planned an evening that demonstrates the excellence for which the Cape Symphony is known. The program includes a movement from Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, featuring the string principals. A selection from Irish Suite by Leroy Anderson is a preview of our next exciting Passport concert that will take us to Ireland in February 2022!
You'll also experience the Cape Symphony's wide range, with a clever Baroque take on "Penny Lane" by Lennon & McCartney, "Voiliere" from Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saens, and "Simple Gifts" from Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copland. Plus, Mozart's "Impressario Overture," an excerpt from Dvorak's New World Symphony, and a Broadway tribute!
Seldom will you have the opportunity to be in a small audience like this for a Cape Symphony performance. Don't miss it! Please join us on Thursday, September 30th at the Wychmere Beach Club for Crescendo: An Evening of Joy.
