Cape Symphony performs at the Cape Cod National Seashore

Tonight at the National Seashore, “It’s Old Cape Cod”

Tonight’s free outdoor concert, Symphony at the Seashore, features one very special original song by Stephen Schaefer.

According to Steve, “It’s Old Cape Cod” was written in 2013 on the beach in West Dennis during a very relaxing vacation week. At the outdoor amphitheater of the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham, the Cape Symphony will perform the song with vocals by Jesse Terry, accompanied by a video of Yarmouthport resident Betty Wiley’s gorgeous Cape Cod photography.

A native of Yorktown Heights, NY, Steve is a longtime Cape visitor and says that he’s “extremely honored” that his song captured the attention of Cape Symphony Artistic Director & Conductor Jung-Ho Pak. The song is perfect for our third annual performance at the Seashore, a concert that celebrates the beauty of the Cape!
