We’re happy to announce the winners of the Cape Symphony’s Baton Hero Competition, our amateur conducting contest. The entrants chose piece of classical or pops symphonic music in the public domain (written before 1924) and submitted a YouTube video. Jung-Ho Pak reviewed the videos and handed out these very special awards to the deserving winners.

ENJOY! with Jung-Ho Pak: Episode 6
The highlight of ENJOY! Episode 6 comes from the Cape Symphony’s January 2020 “Passport to Africa” concert. This very special piece is “Beyond Bars” by Bradley Williams, text by Nelson Mandela and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (Letter from Birmingham Jail), narrated by Dr. Johann Buis and Rev. Dr. Joan M. Martin.
August “Sinatra” Concert Postponed Indefinitely
We’ve been notified that the Barnstable Performing Arts Center will remain closed through the end of August. Unfortunately, this means that we’re unable to present the “Sinatra” concert.
ENJOY! with Jung-Ho Pak: Episode 5
In Episode 5 of ENJOY!, we feature an amazing performance from the Cape Symphony’s April 2016 concert “Mozart, At Last!” Jae Cosmos Lee, our Cape Symphony Concertmaster, takes the lead with an extraordinary ensemble of Cape Symphony musicians in the second movement of Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5. This slow and breathtakingly beautiful piece is truly music for the soul.
