"Elvis and the Symphony" will celebrate the King of Rock n' Roll
WEST BARNSTABLE, MA—April 13, 2026
Cape Symphony’s “Be Ours Tonight: Elvis and the Symphony” concerts at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center on May 9 and 10, 2026 will take audiences on an exhilarating ride through some of Elvis Presley’s greatest hits, including “Burning Love,” “It’s Now or Never,” and “All Shook Up.”
Bryan English will conduct this exuberant CapePOPS! show. Award-winning tribute artist Patrick Dunn will bring the smooth and powerful vocals, the sequins, and the blue suede shoes.
Dr. English has guest conducted orchestras across the nation including the Houston, Detroit, Mississippi, Missouri, Omaha, Worcester, and Fort Worth Symphonies, and performed with Willie Nelson, The Roots, Chaka Khan, Chris Brubeck, and many others. His “Thrillharmonic Orchestra” delights audiences with a fusion of contemporary pop hits and symphonic energy.
Mr. Dunn is a New York City-based actor, vocalist, Broadway star, and longtime Elvis fan. He performed at Madison Square Garden at age 12, earned a BFA in Musical Theatre from the Hartt School at the University of Hartford, and has performed nationwide ever since, including in productions of Waitress, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, and Mamma Mia. “Growing up an avid Elvis fan honed my admiration, knowledge, and eventual duplication of ‘The King of Rock & Roll,’” he says. Judged on vocals, look, movement, and presence, Dunn earned Graceland’s official endorsement as “The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist” in 2021.
“Be Ours Tonight: Elvis and the Symphony” will be presented Saturday, May 9 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, May 10 at 3:00 PM at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center, 744 West Main Street, Hyannis.
