Pianist Matthew Hutchinson returns to twenty-eight Atlantic with his own electrifying Taste of Jazz. Matt has performed for over 30 years at events all over the East Coast and Europe. Having started piano as a young child, he played in rock bands in high school and went to college to study Jazz and improvisation. Pursuing his education in New York, he played in funk and soul bands in clubs around the city while absorbing its vast creative music culture. Matt dedicates much of his creative energy to playing jazz piano, performing both as a soloist and with various ensembles. Cape Cod audiences may have seen him at The Cotuit Center for the Arts. Matt is also a faculty member at Cape Symphony Conservatory.
