In a famous scene from the movie Amadeus, Mozart dictates his final opus to his rival Salieri, feverish on his deathbed as he hears the beautiful music in his head.

Jung-Ho Pak looks at the myths and facts behind Mozart's Requiem, an extraordinary affirmation of the power of the human spirit, and we perform the choral masterpiece from our hearts with our guest artists Musica Sacra, a gifted early music choral group. Incredibly, the Cape Symphony has never played Mozart’s Eine kleine Nachtmusik (A Little Night Music) until now, although this tuneful serenade may be his most popular work.
