Sixth annual Symphony performance at the seashore continues beloved summer tradition

WEST BARNSTABLE, MA—August 2, 2023

Cape Symphony is delighted to return to the shores of Salt Pond in Eastham for an outdoor, fun-filled Pops concert at 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 24, 2023. This is the sixth annual symphony performance at the Cape Cod National Seashore. Admission is free and open to the public.

The Barnstable Performing Arts Center will be filled with some of the 20th century’s greatest songs on April 22 and 23, 2023 as the Cape Symphony pays tribute to Aretha Franklin. Joined by three talented vocalists and led by Artistic Director & Conductor Jung-Ho Pak, the orchestra will perform the music of this iconic force, including “(You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman” and “Chain of Fools.”

The Cape Symphony will present Star Wars: A New Hope In Concert featuring screenings of the complete film with Oscar®-winning composer John Williams’ musical score performed live to the film. The concert will be led by acclaimed Cape Symphony Artistic Director & Conductor Jung-Ho Pak on July 29 & 30, 2023 at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center. Tickets go on sale at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
