Bart Weisman is a dynamic jazz drummer, bandleader, and educator whose versatile music spans traditional and contemporary jazz, smooth jazz, swing, and klezmer-infused styles. With ensembles ranging from his Jazz Group and Cape Cod Jazz Quintet to his Klezmer Swing and Smooth Jazz groups, Bart brings rich rhythmic creativity and spirited improvisation to every performance
Originally from Washington, D.C., Bart’s lifelong passion for jazz began at age 13 and led him to perform with the U.S. Air Force Band Diplomats before relocating to Cape Cod with his wife. On Cape Cod, he has become a central figure in the region’s music scene—founding and executive producing the Provincetown Jazz Festival, hosting the long-running Jazz Jam Cape Cod, and leading jazz in schools and community education programs. He has shared the stage with renowned artists and continues to bring the joy and depth of jazz to audiences through concerts, festivals, and educational initiatives.
