The Chatham Chorale, under the direction of Joseph Marchio, proudly continues its tradition of bringing the finest choral music to Cape Cod audiences, and frequently collaborates with the Cape Symphony. The Chorale celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2021! Today, the Chatham Chorale is dedicated to performing the world’s rich diversity of choral music and supporting the musical arts and artists on Cape Cod.
The Chatham Chorale’s Music Director, Joseph Marchio, is as beloved as the group he leads. Joe became Music Director of the Chorale in 2010. Joe has two Bachelor’s degrees from the College of Wooster, in organ performance and in religious studies. He earned a Master of Divinity degree at the Yale University Institute of Sacred Music, and a Master of Music degree in choral conducting at the Boston Conservatory. Joe is also the Pastor and Director of Music of the First Congregational Church of Chatham, where the Chorale performs its concerts.
