Kathy Brooks earned her BS in Early Childhood Education, double-majoring in Preschool and Primary Education with a minor in Art. She also holds an M.Ed. from Lesley University specializing in Autism and Social Emotional Learning. She began her career as a second grade teacher in Brewster in 1990, and dedicated the next 34 years to the Brewster community teaching first, second, and third grades before wrapping up her wonderful public school career. She is very excited to bring her passion and expertise to Cape Symphony Preschool.
Kathy has made Brewster her home for 25 years. Her daughters, Kallie and Katie, attended Cape Symphony Preschool (formerly Cape Conservatory Preschool), and she fell in love with the program then. She now lives in South Yarmouth with her 2 year old mini poodle, Skippy.
