Recently retired from a 37-year career teaching music in Bourne and Barnstable Public Schools and dedicated to making musical opportunities for students, Lisa Fournier-Donley is delighted to be teaching clarinet and saxophone and leading the Summer Winds ensemble at Cape Symphony Conservatory.
Lisa has mentored countless students from elementary though high school, and was a longtime president of the Cape Cod Music Educators Association. She has directed concert and jazz bands, choruses, festivals, holiday programs, and more. Nominated for the honor by a former student, Lisa is a proud quarterfinalist for the 2026 GRAMMY Music Educator Award.
Lisa holds a degree in Music Education from Anna Maria College. She lives on Cape Cod with her husband, a son in college, a Maine Coon cat, and a new puppy.
