Eastham resident Zack Johnson is the son of two educators and performers of theatre and music, so has been in the world of music and performance his entire life. He earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from New England Conservatory, and a Master of Music and a Master of Musical Arts from Yale University. He began teaching voice as part of Yale’s student teaching program.
Zack has performed in over 20 fully staged musical theatre productions and numerous concerts, cabarets, and church services all over Cape Cod, from Cotuit Center for the Arts to The Provincetown Theatre. He has a private voice studio, and has also taught Voice, Beginner Piano and Youth Theatre Ensemble classes.
As a performer who prides himself on his vocal versatility, Zack believes in a universal and foundational vocal technique that spans all genres. With that foundation, he teaches vocal styles from Opera to Musical Theatre and Pop. Zack funnels all of his performance and teaching experience into every fun and exciting lesson!
