Lauren Lortie wants people to know art is making a comeback at Cape Symphony. An accomplished practicing artist with a focus on painting, she took her first art classes here at age five, “so this is my home, in a way.”

Cape Symphony Presents: Cosmos Sessions Chamber Music Festival
Chamber music lovers are in for a special treat at Cape Symphony’s Falmouth campus on June 20 and 22, 2024 (and if you’re new to this classical form, this is a great opportunity to check it out). Cape Symphony Concertmaster and audience favorite Jae Cosmos Lee has curated two programs of extraordinary music for strings, clarinet, and piano that will ignite your senses and make your heart skip a beat.

Guest Conductor Carolyn Watson on "Our Ocean"
Cape Symphony is thrilled to welcome award-winning guest conductor Carolyn Watson back to the podium. Having led our 2023 Passport Down Under concerts, Carolyn rejoined us for three sold-out shows of Remember When Rock Was Young: The Elton John Experience last month, and will conduct our last Masterpiece performance of the 23/24 concert season, Our Ocean, on June 15 and 16, 2024. Our Ocean, presented in collaboration with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), will celebrate the majesty of the sea and champion its protection.
Faces of Celebration: Mike Sullivan & Friends in Concert
Cape Symphony Presents is delighted to partner with Twenty Summers to bring you Faces of Celebration, an innovative performance by Mike Sullivan and Friends of beloved Stephen Sondheim repertoire, Irish folk music, and other choral works on June 12, 2024 at 7:00 PM at Hawthorne Barn in Provincetown.
Cape Symphony Presents: Marimba Cabaret
Join Cape Symphony Presents for a Pride month celebration! Brian Calhoon will perform his award-winning Marimba Cabaret, featuring a great mix of show tunes and pop covers re-imagined for marimba and voice. Julian Loida will join Brian on vibraphone. Performances will be at Harvest Gallery in Dennis on Thursday, June 6 at 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM, and at Cape Symphony’s Falmouth campus on Saturday, June 8 at 7:00 PM.
